I think sometimes you don't realise how many people you know are key workers until something serious happens... I just sat down and worked out that including myself, my partner, and five out of six of my immediate working-age family are considered key workers and are essential staff during the Covid-19 pandemic...

Slightly terrifying.

 I ended up in hospital after coming down very unwell at work and being triaged through 111 into an ambulance collection. This meant that all the tests I had scheduled became much more urgent and I have had blood tests, ultrasound, CT scan and others in the last 48 hours.

It is equal parts reassuring (for being believed) and terrifying (because there is a thing to be believed about) when your GP examines you and then immediately starts referred you for scans, blood tests and sending you to collect prescriptions.
